Visit to Knock

On Saturday (4th August) the League visited the town of Knock in Co. Mayo. The shrine at Knock is known throughout the world. The day was spent introducing ourselves to others. It is hoped to have a regular meeting in Knock soon.  There was an opportunity to distribute some literature on Catholic social teaching. A visit to Knock during the month of September is being arranged.

Recent events in Limerick

Yesterday the League met in Limerick City and spent several hours propagating the faith. This is photograph of a statue of St. Michael in St. Michael's Church.

Meeting in Knock

The League will be holding a meeting in Knock, Co. Mayo on Saturday 4th August. It's aimed at Catholics aged 18-30. It's expected to last from 12.00-3.00pm. Update

Apologies for a delay in updating the blog. A few visits have been made to several Irish cities and towns introducing ourselves and making our work known to others. We are seeking new members. We don't have a paid membership. A few activities are planned for the coming months.

A recommended booklet is Usury by Belloc. We will be circulating a leaflet in the coming days on the subject of usury in light of Catholic Social teaching.
